What I'm Doing at Home // Self-Quarantine

Hola! Yesss, finally I'm writing again ;) I hope you're all reading this in good condition despite the virus! I'm in Jakarta, Indonesia and it's been weeks I'm staying at home to avoid getting sick. Well, actually I was sick because I was not eating well (alias jajan sembarangan). To be honest, it's been a while I'm writing in English so this is now quite challenging for me huhu. Rasanya pengen nulis dalam Bahasa Indonesia aja. Intinya aku tuh kemaren sakit lumayan banyak: campak Jerman, radang, gejala tipes dan amit-amit hampir DBD. Untungnya sekarang udah lebih baikan sih.

Don't forget that I'm a freelancer. Or I think most people are turning into "temporary freelancer" because some offices are letting their employees to work from home for safety. I still have some projects going on, so I'm working on the storyboard and also creating some designs.

I think everyone will do the same, watching Netflix shows or Korean Dramas. I personally re-subsribe Netflix to watch Kingdom 2, Elite Season 3, and I also re-watched some Korean dramas like Tunnel, Beating Again, etc. Maybe I will share some of my favorite Korean (crime) dramas here next time. Oh, I also finished watching Tell Me What You Saw, it's a good series! I just finished watching The Cursed and I'm currently watching Rugal + waiting for Money Heist season 4!

I can't meet my boyfriend or friends so we sometimes playing games (PUBG, Gartics.io) together while doing video calls. We also watched movie together but turned out it's a boring movie lol. Sometimes we just doing our own business but with video calls on. Can't lie this self-quarantine thingy makes us feel lonely (even for an introvert like me) huhu.

Another unusual thing I do is playing games on my phone. I only played PUBG before but now I'm installing a lot of games-- mostly cooking games. I also found some adorable games like Rilakkuma Farm and Adorable Home. The cooking games actually stress me out sometimes, but Rilakkuma Farm and Adorable Home are pretty relaxing, they're not hard at all haha.

I'm 100% gaining weight even when I was not just staying at home lol. I really want to start exercising and lose some weight but why eating so satisfying..... I eat when I'm hungry, when I'm bored, when I'm just... want to munch on something. I can see some people trying to cook or make some DIY snacks but I'm just not really into it. I watch some youtube videos, but too lazy to try it myself ;p

When there's nothing to do, sleep. I've slept a lot to the point I'm too bored to sleep again. When I was sick, I had a deadline so I had to finish it while I actually felt like dying. It was so hard. All I wanted to do is sleep. But now when I'm getting better, I can't sleep again at night. It's so annoying :( Still, sleep is the best thing to do!

And finally, I'm trying to create some contents while having so much time at home. Why I put it the last on the list? Because it's the last thing I do during this stay at home / self-quarantine time. I was so lazy to do anything, especially after I had to finish my work despite of getting sick. Then, after weeks I feel like I'm wasting my time if I just do those things above, so here I am creating contents ;) I planned some blog posts, video for my Youtube channel, and make some fun videos for TikTok. Please follow my Instagram too if you want: @japobs
Okay, I think that's all about what I'm doing at home. How about yours? Will glad to read your story, just write it on the comment section below. I hope we are all doing fine and this virus will pass quickly. Next time I'm gonna some ideas to do during this self-quarantine time! Already list the ideas tho ;) Jaa, see ya!

teamLab Future Park in Jakarta, Indonesia

teamLab Future Park in Jakarta | www.bigdreamerblog.com
teamLab Future Park is finally here in Jakarta, Indonesia! I'd been putting it on my trip wish list for a while, who knew I could visit it without taking a trip to Japan, lol. It's located on second floor of Gandaria City, from 20th June to 20th December 2019. I actually went there with my fellow blogger friend, she got free tickets and I was her +1. Thanks to her, I don't need to pay to get in there :p
In case you don't know, teamLab Future Park is an interactive art exhibition where you can imagine, play, and explore. The theme here is "Future Park and Animals of Flowers, Symbiotic Lives." It has 5 installations/ interactive artworks:

1. Animals of Flowers, Symbiotic Lives
Animals of Flowers, Symbiotic Lives
This is the first installation you'll find when you enter the exhibition. It's dark and you can see some animals walking on the walls with flowers on their bodies. Try to touch or stroke the animals and the flowers will bloom and flying around. The animals can even look at you, I was so amazed. The background music was also so dreamy, I can still remember it right now :))

2. Graffiti Nature: Lost, Immersed, and Reborn
Graffiti Nature | www.bigdreamerblog.com
After go through the first installation you'll enter this huge room- similar dark room but with different graphics. There are two huge whales here, with interactive things like flowers, butterfly, and some creatures that we can create ourselves. They provide a room where we can choose any animals, color and scan it, then it will appear on the dark room outside. Step on it, and it will scatter into splash of colors.

3.  Light Ball Orchestra
Light Ball Orchestra | www.bigdreamerblog.com
This is one of my favorite because it's colorful, but I was a little bit dizzy because it's quite noisy lol So, if you touch or hit the balls, its color will change and release sound. When you touch one ball, it will affect another balls in the entire room, creating music like orchestra.

4. Sketch Aquarium
Skecth Aquarium | www.bigdreamerblog.com
Another fun activity to do in teamLab Future Park is coloring sea creatures to fill in the "aquarium". It's gonna be fun for kids (and adults too!). Just like before at Graffiti Nature, we can choose any sea creatures we like and coloring them, then scan it and it will appear on the screen. This 'aquarium' is filled with various kind and colors of sea creatures, and we can even feed them by touching the food bag. Huhu so cute~

5. Sliding through the Fruit Field
Sliding through the fruit field | www.bigdreamerblog.com

Say hi to my top favorite part: sliding through the fruit field. It was super fun that I did it numerous times, hahaha. My inner kid was coming out ;p Basically, we just sliding down, and when we touch the balls, it will bounce around and when it collides with the fruits, the fruits will grow. The sound is also so pleasing, I love it T.T
Notes: Tripod, monopod, and selfie stick are not allowed. Come with your friends to help you take photos and tbh it's much more fun to come with your friends/ family. Oh, also wear white/ light color clothes so your picture will look better ;)
***
Ticket Price is IDR 150.000 (weekdays) and IDR 175.000 (weekend). I will suggest you to check some websites, who knows you can get discount or any promos! Guys, better be quick because next month it will be over T.T Sorry I just published this right now ;")

Review: Minuman Kesehatan Kojima // Korma, Jinten (habbatussauda), Madu

Hola! That's why you need to keep on reading ;)
When you realized it, Kojima ini singkatan dari 3 kandungan utamanya, yaitu ekstrak Korma, Jinten Hitam (habbatusaauda), dan Madu.

Jinten Hitam (habbatussauda)
Source

Event Report: #TerusAktif with the New Kotex Ultrathins

One thing I (or any girls) can't live without is sanitary pad. Especially when you're active and have many things to do, you need the right pad to support all your activities when you're on period. Long story short, I was invited to the launching event of Kotex Ultrathins by Beauty Journal.
The event was started with the "launch" of Kotex Ultrathins inside a pinata-- was broken by Beatrice (Kotex) and Mira Monika (Sociolla). After that, we're having talk show. From the talkshow, we were learned that it's important to change our pads as many as possible. It's no good to use the same pad for a long time, even when you're too busy. If possible, we're suggested to change it everytime going to the toilet.
Kotex Ultrathins is no.1 brand in Australia, designed for modern and active girls, so we can still do our activities without any worry. It can absorb 3x faster, ultra thin, breathable, and flexible. It has unique packaging design with string to keep it hygienic, pad is no longer boring white but now with colors and patterns. Kotex Ultrathins has two packaging: Rainbow (without wings) with 14 pads and Patterns (with wings) with 12 pads.
After learning session, we're having fun time by playing group games such as photo challenge and  Twister. We're told to pose as modern and active girls at the photobooth there. Guess what, in the end we won that challenge, lol. Next, we played twister where one member of the group (my friend) must answered the question and if we failed, another member (me) must perform the punishment. We failed once tho, not bad lah hahaha.
The event was fun and we got to catch up one with another, plus we got some important information about sanitary pads ;D They also gave us goodie bag from Kotex and the bag is super cute! Can't wait to try this when I'm on my period ;)

Food Monster Escape: The Garden, Pantai Indah Kapuk

The Garden PIK review | www.bigdreamerblog.com
Hi, Dreamers! I'm so excited to share about this insta-worthy restaurant with delicious food called The Garden at Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), Jakarta Utara. I can say that most of restaurants/ cafes around PIK have pretty exterior and interior designs, but not all of them offer nice food too. One of the reason I write this post is because The Garden is not only selling ambience, but also gives a high quality taste for us.
Live up to its name, The Garden offers garden-like interior, with lots of plants, flowers, even flamingos. It has great lighting for taking photos, especially when you come at noon. We were actually too late when we went there, it's already around 6 so the place was already full and we have to be on waiting list. It has different vibe at night, romantic I can say. When I entered, I was amazed by how serious they pull off this concept. It's all out-- not half hearted, lol.
The Garden PIK instagrammable | www.bigdreamerblog.com
So, here are some tips I can give after my visit:
Find your perfect timing. Visit at noon if you want to take a lot of nice photos. It has natural (and great) lighting, but still you won't feel hot because the air conditioner is really strong. I'm not saying this place is bad to visit at night tho, it's just the lighting is not the best for taking photos, especially when it's getting late, they turn off the lights for live show-- that's why I couldn't take photos at all even though every corners at this restaurant is instagrammable. I think visiting at noon also less crowded than the night. So, you can find your own timing to visit, both has its own charms. Oh, maybe you can get both experience by visiting it around 5 pm ;))
Wear the perfect outfit. Well, of course to take a nice photo, huh? lol. Not merely for that reason tho :)) It's pretty cold here, so if you're not really good with coldness, better bring an outerwear or wear warmer clothes.
The Garden PIK interior | www.bigdreamerblog.com
I think you can't complain about the interior, but how about the food? I'm gonna give some review about the food we ate here. It's including meal, drinks, and dessert.

Bad'Ass Fried Rice (IDR 90k)
This Bad'Ass Fried Rice is listed as their favorite dish. I was kinda craving for fried rice hence I ordered this menu. It's spicy fried rice with grilled wagyu and onsen egg. The portion is not too big nor small, it's perfect for me actually. The fried rice was spicy and rich of flavors, I think the seasoning is just right. It goes perfectly with the soft, savory, and sweet grilled wagyu. The onsen egg was not onsen enough tho, just like regular egg.

Sunshine Caramelized Pork (IDR 100k)
Oh my, this is the winner! Sunshine Caramelized Pork is crispy pork topped with Thai salad and sweet sauce (not the literal caramel sauce). My friend was the one who ordered this and I tried one of the crispy pork and it tasted heavenly, lol. The crispiness and sweet flavor is just perfect T.T The salad itself makes this dish taste so fresh. I will just order this on my next visit!

Salted Choco Fondant (IDR 75k)
We are all always have extra space for dessert, right? Kinda confused what to order at first, but we finally decided to order Salted Choco Fondant, contains of dark melted valrhona, caramel miso, coconut crumble, kinako, black tuile with matcha ice cream. It's nice combination of sweet and salty flavor, neutralized by the matcha ice cream (imo). It's kinda pricey for dessert, but it's worth it after all.
Overall, it's a nice place to hang out with your friends, family, or even to have a date. It offers both great ambience and delicious food, so I think I will visit it again in the future. For price wise it's kinda expensive but I actually didn't really mind paid that price for what I got. Last but not least, the service was good too :)
