Things to Do in Incheon (Less than 24 Hours)

Things to Do in Incheon | www.bigdreamerblog.comHola! Today's post is about my trip to Incheon last year. If you have enough time, I recommend you to make a day trip to Incheon from Seoul. It's gonna be fun and you'll go back with full tummy ;) It's located northwest of South Korea, around 1 hour from Seoul Station. To be exact, I only explored around Incheon Chinatown. Keep on reading to know more about things to do there!
Take Subway (Seoul Subway Line 1) to Incheon Station, Exit 3.
The entrance to Incheon Chinatown is across the street.
Next below I'm gonna share about things you can do in Incheon for just one day. You should bring some cash because you might want to spend your money on street food here ;))
As I said, I only explored around the Chinatown. Actually there are a lot of things to see here, it's like you're in China instead of Korea (although I haven't been to China, lol). Here is the heaven of Jajangmyeon/ Jjamppong, it's easily found anywhere here. But how do you know which one is serving the decent (or even best) food? Find out on the next point! Back to Chinatown, it has a lot of street food and snacks, some of them were kinda pricey- for the example the watermelon drink. I thought it's cute and I wanted to try, but it's overpriced for me. You can also see the Chinese temple here. Overall, it's okay to have a walk while drinking your iced drink or eating ice cream.

You can't miss jajangmyeon/ jjamppong when you're visiting Incheon Chinatown! If you love Korean culture and food, you must see these food anywhere. Korean people love them so much, they also usually order jajangmyeon when they're moving to new house. There are a lot of Chinese restaurants here, all you need to do is find the right place to eat. My friend and I decided to eat them at Sinseungbanjeom. It's one of the original Chinese restaurant that serves jajangmyeon/ jjamppong in Incheon and also featured in some korean program. First thing first, we need to take queue number and wait patiently. I can say that the food here was awesome! The jajangmyeon was really really good, I finished it in no time. My friend ordered jjamppong and it's also a decent one, it has clean taste. Totally recommended!

For me, Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village was the highlight of the trip. It will be yours too especially if you love colorful things and places. I will write more about this place on separate post, so I'll just tell you about it briefly here. This neighborhood is filled with fairy tale themed mural and decoration, sooo adorable 💖 I just couldn't stop taking photos there :") Plus, the entrance fee is FREE!

Moment of Refresh with Ovale and Absolute Women at Pulau Ayer

Hola, Dreamers! Last weekend was not my typical stay-at-home weekend because I was having a Moment of Refresh with ClozetteID, Ovale, Absolute Women, and fellow bloggers at Pulau Ayer. If you're following me on Instagram and saw my instastories, you probably knew what I was doing there. But if you don't, worry not because I'm gonna share the fun stuff here ;) Keep on reading!
Long story short, I was chosen as one of the winners after posting the Refreshin Kit I got. With another 11 bloggers and influencers (Patrishiela and Salmaa), we were going to Pulau Ayer for 2D1N (20-21 October 2018). We were told to gather at Dermaga 16 Marina Ancol at 6.45 AM and departed to the island at 8 AM. I didn’t expect Pulau Ayer would be so close to Jakarta, it’s just around 20 minutes with speed boat.
When we arrived at Pulau Ayer, we were welcomed by some Biawak (lizards, looks like Komodo) by the shore. Thankfully it’s tamed so we didn’t need to worry. We also got welcome drink, some explanation about the island and do + don’ts of the island. After that we got free time to explore the island and took photos of the instagrammable spots. Guess what, I was bitten by the red ants :”) So be careful when you step on the sands area!
Next, we finally started the Moment of Refresh with a workshop with Ovale, which was making 3D Art Popcard with our polaroid photo. It’s actually fun but so hoooot under the sun, lol. While we're working on the card, they explained about the product; Ovale Micellar Water. Not only for removing makeup, it's also can be used as cleanser in the morning to freshen the face before doing any activities. Furthermore, it's available in travel size so it's easy to bring anywhere.
After lunch we got another free time to go back to our room. We're staying at Pulau Ayer Floating Cottage, it's a room for two and full of traditional vibes. My bad, I didn't take any proper photos-- just shot some videos. We got surprise on the bed: lots of Ovale and Absolute Women products with a pink t-shirt for the group game later.

I was in team Absolute with Patrishiela as the team leader, the Treasure Hunt game we were playing was kind of Running Man game (if you watch the variety show). It was fun, full of laugh and sweat-- because we're running around the island, lol. Thankfully we won so all the efforts weren't wasted in vain.
Last schedule on the first day is Awarding Night, we're told to come to the venue with white/pink dresscode. There was also fashion show but our team's was a mess, I forgot how to walk like the plan because I was too nervous :")) It's still okay tho, at least we're having fun! Although we didn't win the fashion show, we still won the Treasure Hunt, right? I also won the Best Flatlay that night, totally unexpected! Tee-hee~
We started our day 2 with breakfast then continue to do Pound Fit by the sea. Seriously a workout with a view! It's such a fun experience for me, thanks Absolute Women to make this happened.
By the way, do you know that it's very important to clean our V area with proper cleanser after workout? Absolute Hypoallergenic cleanser is formulated with pH 3.5 to maintain the balance of normal flora in feminine area hence itching and odor. It's also safe for daily use. Avoid using regular body soap for our V area because the pH is too high.
Anyway, it's a fun Pound Fit although it's super hot :))
Day 2 was quite short because we're gonna leave after lunch. Thank you ClozetteID, Ovale, and Absolute for this short but fun weekend getaway! It's sure a moment of Refresh before going back to the routine (dealing with traffic and works + deadlines, ugh!) See ya on next fun trip~

What I wore to Lembang ft. Elsa

What I wore to Lembang flower garden | japobsganbare.blogspot.com
Happy Sunday, dreamers! How's your weekend going? I felt a little bit overwhelmed a few days ago but I'm totally fine right now :D I still have a lot of things to do but I decided to take it easy and do the best I can. Okay, that's enough. Let's talk about my outfit in this post!
I went to Lembang, Bandung a day after my graduation day with my family, grandparents, and aunts. I woke up at 3 A.M 2 day straight but I was so excited to finally go to Bandung again. I also wanted to show my grandparents and aunts about Bandung because they've never been there. We went to De' Ranch and Floating Market which I will tell more about it on the next posts. Anyway, I didn't know about Farm House yet at that time, I would've definitely gone there If I knew :( Maybe next time.

I wanted to wear this Elsa jumper no matter what, lol. I bought it after visiting my campus to take my graduation stuff with my friend, Kene. I actually have been eyeing this one since I first saw it at Uniqlo, but it was quite expensive so I didn't buy it. Then, that day, we were strolling inside AEON Mall before attending the graduation rehearsal and we saw the jumpers were on sale. We're like...buy or not to buy? And finally those jumpers won, we ended up buying them. Mine is this Elsa one and she bought the one with Minnie Mouse on it. The temptation, duh.

I wore the Elsa jumper with DIY distressed jeans and Converse sneakers. I wanted to wear something simple, comfy, and didn't felt like wearing short pants, so yeah. Luckily I brought a snapback and just as I predicted, I had a bad hair day afterwards. Another preparation I did is to bring a tee, because I was afraid the weather would be too hot to wear a jumper. Turned out it's cool and also raining for several times.
That's all for this post. Please stay tuned for next posts :)

WANDERLUST: One Day Trip to Puncak // Taman Bunga Nusantara

Yoo, dreamers! Here is another late post of one day trip to Puncak a few months ago. I planned to blog about this last week but because of my works and bad time management, I ended up neglecting my blog again. Let's start, shall we? (This will be a long post ;p)
We departed before sunrise to avoid traffic, fyi Puncak is one of the most popular destination for holiday or long weekend in Jakarta, so the traffic is too much to handle. Fortunately, it's not that bad when we went there on Idul Fitri. We were confused because it's not what we expected to be, but I thought it's because most of them already went there a day before.
We stopped here to take photos and I could already feel the cool breeze. It's not as cold as it used to be, but it's not hot either. Anyway, there's actually a 'tradition' to take photos on tea farm when you go to Puncak but we skipped it. I already took a lot when I was a kid, lol.

We continued our trip to this Puncak Pass Resort, which was a popular resort back then. I don't really know about how popular it is now, but based on the condition when I went there, it's just...sad. I remember I went there a lot, I've stayed there too, and always wanted to swim in the pool but the water was just too cold. When I went there, there was no water in the pool anymore and the floor cracked.
Overall, I think it's still a nice place to go or stay. The view was so good and it's fun to take a walk while enjoying the scenery. I hope they fix the pool soon so I can swim there next time.
There's also a restaurant with nice view there ;)
Taman Bunga Nusantara
We decided to go to Taman Bunga Nusantara, although I already went to Puncak so many times, this was my first time visiting Taman Bunga Nusantara. Different from the weather at Puncak Pass before, it's so hot here. I suggest you to bring hat or umbrella and apply suncreen (I didn't.)
After payed entrance fee for IDR 40.000 we could enter the park with this so-called garden tram. It drove us inside and also explained about Taman Bunga Nusantara.
Go! Go!
The garden tram dropped us near the children play area and we continued by walking. I won't say much so you can enjoy these photos ;)

Saung Dahlia
I think this is a...restaurant? We used the toilet there and the house was so pretty especially with those flowers.

Musical Fountain
In front of Saung Dahlia there is this water fountain which was sooo pretty, oh it danced to music as well. Unfortunately we missed the show time. It felt so western, hehe.

These are some random flower shots:

French Garden
Found this Larva looking plant x)
Beautiful, huk!

Rose Garden
It's obviously a garden full of roses and it smelled so nice. I love the roses, they're so beautiful they look fake. I especially love white roses ;)

Green House (Rumah Kaca)
To enter the green house we need to pay IDR 2.000. There were a lot of flowers too and I managed to snap these cute flowers.
Dusty Miller

Japanese Garden
This is a Japanese style garden with typical Japanese plants, decorations, gazebo, pool. Maybe you can tell from the photos, it's so hot here! I was drenched in sweat when I took photos there, haha.
Dream came true: taking photo with hydrangea, lol
After the Japanese garden, we took another stroll to the entrance (because we took garden tram before) and I took bunch of photos.
Beside the extremely hot weather, I totally enjoyed my visit there. Saw these flowers made me so happy and also felt refreshed, hehe. I hope you enjoy this post (or I can say photo spam)! I've never write a post this long before and it took me hours to finish, lol. I actually feel sick but there are still a lot of things to do so yeah, じゃあね!
