#japobsOOTD: My Effortless Looks (or just Lazy?)

Hola, Dreamers! I actually have posted these outfits on my instagram: @japobs. Do follow if you haven't 😉 I think I'm kinda weird, I love fashion and love mix and match clothes, but I always wear something so effortless/ lazy. To be honest, it's so hot in Jakarta so I just want to wear comfy clothes like t-shirt with pants all the time. On another note, I usually use public transportation, that's why. So when I'm in the mood for it, I will wear something simple yet stylish either I forced myself to wear it from home or change it later at the office/ event venue (oh, effort). Here are some of them:

Wear this outfit to Holika Holika x Peko-chan launching event 2 days ago. It's a very simple outfit actually, but I gave a little touch of red beret hat to the look. My friend gave me this top/ dress, it's too long for top and too short for a dress, so I decided to wear it with this denim jeans from Someday. I love the look, tbh.

My mom bought me this cute t-shirt from Bangkok, I paired it with my new black pants from This is April. Simple, comfortable, but still look cute. Agree? haha!

One of my blogger friend asked me to go with her to an event (not actually an event but yeah, similar) and the dress code was black. I wanted to sell this top but maybe later, I need it for this event, lol.

Had some contents to post on Instagram, so I wore this to the photoshoot. My bf said this look is weird T.T I really love the mustard stripe top that I got from bobobobo (it's the last stock on display)! Oh, can you spot my Donald Duck socks? Bought it at Myeong-dong and loveeee it 💖

Another cute and comfy t-shirt from Bangkok (this one is purchased from my friend), which really made me decided to visit Bangkok a.s.a.p to go shopping! This was also an outfit that I wore to event, quite long time ago, but it's really effortless and still look good. All you need is a cute t-shirt ;)

Those are some outfits I posted on my instagram, please follow if you like it :)) Most of the days my outfits just not worth to share, hahaha. I really want to try challenge myself to wear proper outfit for at least week but it's so hard. I chose to sleep longer and just go to the office lookin' lancai. Will update if I can do that tho. Wish me luck! :p Last but not least, which one is your favorite look?

#japobsOOTD: How to Wear 90s Style (ft. Windbreaker)

I've always been a fan of 90s style and I finally could create my own 90s style with this windbreaker. This windbreaker is actually thrifted, I got it for only IDR 120.000 or around $8.2 with so much effort! I bought it from an online thrift store after refreshing the page thousands times. You think I got it in one try? NO! This is truly meant to be mine because the 'original owner' didn't pay so I got the chance to adopt it. Guess what, this jacket was my target from the beginning but I was not quick enough hence I lost it to that 'original owner'. Super happy at that time, lol.
Windbreaker- thrifted // Tee- Uniqlo // Mom jeans- Stradivarius // Sneakers- Vans SK8-hi

| So, how to wear 90s style?
I wore a white graphic t-shirt with mom jeans- you know this 2 items can already create the simple 90s look, right? To made it look more fashionable, I added a red belt, wore Vans SK8-hi, and of course the new (thrifted) windbreaker/ jacket. You don't have to wear the exact same outfit tho. You can change into another sneakers like Converse or any canvas shoes. Oh, don't forget to roll up your mom jeans to get the more 90s look ;)
I personally love this outfit so much! It's comfortable, it's stylish, and it's just something I've always wanted to wear. What do you think about it? Do you love 90s style too? I hope this post can inspire you when you don't know what to wear ;)

#japobsOOTD: Blazer Set

Coming back with new #japobsOOTD post! As you can see, this is actually old outfit that I wore when I still had the pink peek-a-boo hair. I have always wanted blazer set- with shorts to be exact. I bought this grey grid blazer set when I stumbled upon one of online store that I followed. This blazer set can be worn 3 ways. Unfortunately, I just wore it like this without styling it another ways. Maybe later? I can actually wear it as one set, just the shorts, or just the blazer.

It's quite cheap and the quality is not as good as I expected, but it worth the price. It's fine to wear this on casual or semi-casual occasions. The grey color also friendly to mix and match with another fashion items/ color.
I wore this blazer set with dark grey t-shirt, you can actually wear it with fun graphic tee too. In my opinion, wearing shirt with this blazer set will make it too formal and boring. I wanted to go with casual look, so I put on my white sneakers to complete the whole look. Because fanny pack was so hot that time, I decided to use it with this blazer set. A little touch of sweet color to dull color palette, nice idea huh? :p

What do you think about this outfit?
Is it better with the pink fanny pack or without?

#japobsOOTD: That Mandatory IKEA Photo Spot

I bet you've seen this kind of photos before, huh? It's like the most mainstream photo spot when IKEA first opened in Alam Sutera, Indonesia a few years ago. I actually took outfit photos here before and I went there again a few weeks ago with my colleagues, didn't want to waste the chance to create new content for this blog ;))
Oh, I remember back then when we don't need too much "effort" to take outfit photos for blog. I mean, we (mostly) just focus in expressing/showing our style/outfit/look without thinking too much about the background. Corner of the bedroom, in front of white wall, etc as long as we can show the whole outfit. These days, it may look boring to show the same background continuously in your blog/ Instagram posts, right? People are "racing" to find the aesthetic spots to create the great photos. But yeah, things change and it's not always bad. I love cute and eye-pleasing places tho. It DOES make outfit photos turn out great!

I went to IKEA with my colleagues on the Idul Fitri holiday, it's not as crowded as I expected, thankfully. Won't say too much about what we did there, I'll just tell you about the outfit. I wore a T-shirt from Skelly, it's really comfortable! Paired it with newly bought cropped pants with ring belt, also added a denim jacket- because as always, outerwear saves the day, lol. To complete the look, I wore my Mint Onitsuka Tiger sneakers and Nike mini backpack. I loooove the color of this bag, bought it because I fell in love at the first sight (with the color combo ;p). What do you think?

#japobsOOTD: Wide Leg Jumpsuit

Wide Leg Jumpsuit Outfit | www.bigdreamerblog.com
Hola, Dreamers! I'm gonna share one of my favorite outfit today ;) I took these pics last year, you can see my hair was still so short. I've wanted to share it here but yeah, didn't do it until today. I love this look so much and I think it'd be a waste if I don't write a post about it. Anddd, maybe it can be inspiration for you too (I wish!).
My mom was visiting Bangkok and bought me some clothes- because it's super cheap there. OMG I wanna go there so I can shop-till-drop by myself, lol. When I first saw this jumpsuit, I was kinda confused how to style it, and I also thought that it wouldn't look nice on me. Then, turned out I could pull it off (imo), what do you think? I wore it with stripes bell-sleeves top (you can see other look here), white sneakers, cute beret hat, and mini sling bag. It was really a good decision to add beret hat- as expected it can turn any average outfit into extraordinary one.

Last but not least, I just want to encourage you to express yourself better in fashion. I've been through some stages before I am now and I'm so grateful I can finally do (and wear) whatever I like without thinking too much about how people think. Challenge yourself to mix and match- with your personal style of course- any fashion items. It's fun anyway :))

#japobsOOTD: Rooftop Swagger

Rooftop Swagger | www.bigdreamerblog.com
First thing first...just ignore the post title, lol. I actually took these pics to test out my new 35mm f/1.4 fujinon lens. It's such an investment! I wish I can take more great photos and create more contents with this new lens.

About my outfit, it's actually a really simple one but yeah I think I got some swag *narcissist* I wore plain grey t-shirt with my new-in plaid midi skirt (which looks like sarung hahaha) and Nike black sneakers. These days I love wearing bum bag/fanny pack or whatever its name is, it's practical and quite spacious (I can put my camera inside), and safe to bring to crowded places. Oh, it looks stylish too. Yeah, that's all. Just want to share some outfit photos before I post beauty related stuff again ;) Jaa, see ya on the next post~

How to Look Casual with Plaid Blazer

How to Look Casual with Plaid Blazer Blog | www.bigdreamerblog.com
Hi, Dreamers! As some of your may already know (or not?) I've always love outerwear. Denim jacket, windbreaker, bomber jacket, you name it. And guess what, now I'm addicted to plaid blazer! Imo, you don't have to look formal everytime you wear blazer, especially when it comes to plaid blazer. There are a lot of fun way to style it, but this time I'm gonna share about how to look casual with plaid blazer. Because...yeah, I mostly wear casual outfits ;)
Casual Plaid Blazer Style | www.bigdreamerblog.com
You can never go wrong with denim to create a casual look! I wore this denim cropped jeans with Minnie Mouse tee and added the plaid blazer. I'm into character tees so much, that's why you will often see me in one of those tees. This outfit is like combining 3 of my favorite items; character tee, denim, and plaid blazer. Well, it'd be all kill if I wore sneakers, lol. I decided to wear this cute sandals instead of sneakers that day, just because.

Question is, Are You Really Happy?

This question just suddenly appeared on my mind when I saw my outfit pics. We all know that it's impossible to be happy ALL THE TIME. This made me think about how people can hide their emotion with a smile, or to be frank, on their Instagram feed. Tbh, I was not the happiest I could be that day, but somehow the photos just turned out like that. I look so happy in this photo.
My conclusion is, not everything you see in Instagram feed (or anywhere) is beautiful reality. We don't know the story behind, or how we are all struggled to reach that certain point in our life. In the end, just don't compare your life with what you see in the internet. Keep doing things you love and stay true to yourself, Dreamers!
Oh, I love my outfit that day, tho.
I didn't plan the color combo of black, white, and yellow but it turned out really nice!

#japobsOOTD: Not Your Boyfie

Sweatshirt, Pants- Bershka // Sneakers- Stradivarius // Sling Bag- Zara
Here is a quick update about my another casual outfit I wore to my friend's wedding! I don't own any "proper" dress for wedding party so I mostly wear something casual. I think this outfit looks so boyish, an outfit that can be worn by men, don't you think so? I'm in love with this mock neck sweatshirt tho ;) Oh, people told me that I look like Red Velvet's Seulgi here, lolol.

Was helping my friend shooting ads as soundman (or girl?) and one of the location was this sort of rooftop thingy, it was 8th floor. When we finished shooting there, the talents were taking photos so I asked them to take some pics of me too, hahaha *blogger mode on* It was shot by a quite popular photographer and taken by my friend's iphone 7+. The results are amazing for phone camera, aren't they?
I was wearing my favorite Pink Panther sweatshirt (thanks to my sis for buying it for me directly from Korea 💖), new stripes trousers from Bershka, and my all time favorite sneakers from Reebok. It sure gives boyish vibe but I really love this look ;)) What do you think?

How to Dress A Like Korean

How to Dress Like A Korean | www.bigdreamerblog.com
Happy Sunday, dreamers! Back with a new style post, which is one of my favorite outfit so far. From this outfit I can even write about "How to Dress Like A Korean", because I think this style is a trend in Korea especially in summer (hey, it always feels like summer here).

My own version of how to dress like a Korean is with a floral slip/maxi dress, t-shirt, and a pair of sneakers! Actually you can wear any shoes for this outfit (flats or strap sandals), but if you're a Korean street style lover, I bet you know that they LOVE wearing sneakers with (almost) every outfits, either it's girly or boyish style. That's also the reason why I love Korean streetstyle  tho #sneakersforlife 😂 To complete this look, I decided to wear a simple sling bag with gingham ribbon. You can bring a tote bag for more Korean look ;)

Anyway, my Mom bought me this dress for a very cheap price in Bangkok. You can easily find this kind of dress anywhere these days tho. For the sneakers, it's one of my most-loved sneakers because I bought it at Onitsuka Tiger in Japan + my favorite color + it's my own money + it's my first >1mio sneakers lol 😂 Okay, that's it! Tell me what's your favorite items to create a Korean look at comment section, I'd love to know :)) Jaa ne!
